What a virtual office is, how to sign in, and your first five minutes.
What is Grapdes.Online?
Grapdes.Online is our office on the web. Everyone has a little character on a map of the office. When you walk up to someone, you can hear and see them — just like stopping by a colleague's desk. Walk away and the conversation ends.
There are no meeting links to send for a quick question: you can see who's around, what they're doing (their status), and go talk to them.
Signing in
- Continue with Google — the quickest way, and the one to use with your @grapdes.com work account.
- Email and password — if an admin invited you by email, or you set a password on your account.
Joining a company space with a work-email link needs your email to be confirmed by signing in with Google. If the invite page says your account isn't allowed, sign in with Google using the same work email.
Your dashboard
After signing in you land on My Spaces. The banner shows who's in the office right now with a big Enter button. Below are your spaces, the latest from the Notice Wall, this week's work anniversaries, your profile card and a few handy shortcuts.
Your first five minutes
- Click Enter on the dashboard.
- The first time, you'll be asked to complete your profile — name, time zone, title, country, city, start date, email, phone and a photo. About me and a family / memories photo are optional. It only asks for what's missing.
- Allow your camera and microphone when the browser asks.
- Walk around with W A S D or the arrow keys.
- Find your desk with ⌘/Ctrl D — or claim a free one (see “Your desk”).
- Say hi! Walk up to someone and start talking.
